A weekend of festivities includes a Supper on the Farm, Sunday Festival & tasting of over 40 tomato varietals
The Heirloom Tomato Festival is coming to Windrose Farm in Paso Robles Sept. 20-21. The main event, an Heirloom Tomato Tasting, will feature over 40 tomato varieties. Local chefs and purveyors will be preparing bites of their favorite recipes using Windrose Farm’s tomatoes and tasty produce.
Art inspired by the Farm will be on display and for sale benefiting the Paso Robles Youth Art Foundation. The Farm Stand will be open & selling much of the flavorful fare guests will be grazing on throughout the afternoon. Tickets for the festival are $35 and are on sale now.
Pre-festival Saturday dinner is Sept. 20
The day before the festival, there will be a Supper on the Farm by Salt’s Cure and cocktail Chef Matthew Biancaniello at Windrose Farm. It’s an opportunity to experience chefs’ preparing and presenting Windrose Farm’s locally grown food & beverages. The evening kicks off with a farm tour and toast to the Paso Robles Youth Arts Foundation, the beneficiary of the weekend’s proceeds, to then be followed by a multi-course meal paired with herbal concoctions, wines and live music.
Tickets to both events are on sale now at www.farmsteaded.com.
