CHEERS TO ANOTHER SPECTACULAR OPEN FARM DAYS!
Attendees gathered, excited to learn what the buzz was all about, starting with a Friday Night Marketplace kick-off gathering at Paso Robles’ Downtown City Park. Then, the gates were swung wide open to over 25 farms & makers all along the San Luis Obispo County Farm Trail.
From olive oil tastings and pig greetings to beekeeping and gardening workshops, folks gathered throughout SLO CAL to meet local farmers and learn about all that goes into growing and producing our local groceries and goods. Open Farm Days gets better and better every year and we’re so thankful to all of you who came out to TOUR, TASTE, and LEARN along the SLO County Farm Trail.
While folks came out to enjoy a boots on the ground good time in barnyards and fields at local family farms, what was gathered was so much more - both tourists & townies came out in droves, excited, engaged, and interested to truly connect to our local agriculture. The energy was amazing, the smiles were infectious, and as promised, the animals were adorable.
FARMstead ED partners and friends raised awareness of our family farms and moo-la to infuse back into our agricultural community, all while making life-long memories rooted in a deeper understanding of what makes this SLO CAL community so truly special.
