That's a wrap for 2025!
CHEERS TO ANOTHER SPECTACULAR OPEN FARM DAYS
Stay tuned for more info on
next year's Open Farm Days!

Attendees gathered, excited to learn what the buzz was all about, starting with a Friday Night Marketplace kick-off gathering at Paso Robles’ Downtown City Park. Then, the gates were swung wide open to over 25 farms & makers all along the San Luis Obispo County Farm Trail. From olive oil tastings and pig greetings to beekeeping and gardening workshops, folks gathered throughout SLO CAL to meet local farmers and learn about all that goes into growing and producing our local groceries and goods. Open Farm Days gets better and better every year and we’re so thankful to all of you who came out to TOUR, TASTE, and LEARN along the SLO County Farm Trail.
While folks came out to enjoy a boots on the ground good time in barnyards and fields at local family farms, what was gathered was so much more - both tourists & townies came out in droves, excited, engaged, and interested to truly connect to our local agriculture. The energy was amazing, the smiles were infectious, and as promised, the animals were adorable.
FARMstead ED partners and friends raised awareness of our family farms and moo-la to infuse back into our agricultural community, all while making life-long memories rooted in a deeper understanding of what makes this SLO CAL community so truly special.

THANKS TO ALL THE HANDS THAT HELPED MAKE IT ALL HAPPEN
Big thanks go out to our Open Farm Days herd bosses, Lynette Sonne @lynettesonne (SLO County Farm Trail), Gina Hambly @hambly_farms (Hambly Farms), Jennifer Tallent Joseph @thegroveson41 (The Groves on 41)
A big HUG THANK EWE to all those who work non-stop behind the scenes… Behind the cameras, the reels and social posts, podcasts and all the marketing and promoting that goes into getting our family farm’s stories told. It’s with the help from these fine folks that we can share such beautiful imagery and creative messaging.
Our heartfelt thanks to Jessica (Marketing & Graphics Go to Gal), Jenny @jennythompson405 & Liz @calicoastwine (Social Media Mavens), Brittany App @brittanyapp (photographer of all things great and small). And we couldn’t do it without the support of our local DMO’s, Travel Paso @travelpaso, Visit Atascadero @visitatascadero, Share SLO @shareslo, SLO CAL @slocal, SLO Farm Bureau @slofarmbureau and CA Grown @cagrownofficial.
And of course, BIG thanks to our trail sponsors, for which we are so very grateful for their contributions of in-kind and moo-la. For without all of these hands, their labor of love, and the support of our community, Open Farm Days would remain a vision vs the awesome reality that we can share with all of you!
AND A “WE WOULDN'T BE HERE WITHOUT YOU”, THANK YOU
goes to our farmers and purveyors, who jumped through hoops with planning and promotion, helped spread the word, and received the community with open arms (and gates) by hosting farm tours, workshops, demo’s, tastings and unique agricultural experiences. Guests blazed their own trail learning about our local agricultural life through observing busy bees in their hives, strolling through flower fields, sipping local wines and mocktails, grazing on locally grown groceries, tasting exquisite olive oils, hand-crafting aromatic & creative take-a-ways to remember the day by, touring the very fields their lunches were harvested from, cuddled with little piggies, and so much more.
