 PASO ROBLES, California – September 27, 2016    So many in Orange County go to Paso Robles Wine Country for tasting, so we thought we’d put a spin on it and bring Paso to you!  Join us as we bring together our longtime friends from FARMstead ED, their partners & pals from Paso, with us here at the Wine Lab for this unique Food & Wine Pairing event.

Pop-up Paso at Wine Lab Camp, Costa Mesa featuring wine & food purveyors from Paso Robles Thursday October 6, 2016 ~ 6p-7:30p

Get Your Foodie on and Find Your Taste at this unique pop-up event being held at the Wine Lab, located at The Camp in Costa Mesa.  Savory and sweet bites will be created with fresh Paso Robles groceries, and paired with Seven Oxen Estate Wines, one of Paso’s new kids on the block who specializes in creating a signature line-up of red varietals that compliment all foodie cravings & cuisines.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience Paso Robles area purveyors such as The Groves on 41, The Chocolate Stache,Stepladder Creamery, Templeton Hills Beef, and Windrose Farm who will be collaborating and presenting our locally grown. Guests will graze & sip from the multiple pairing stations set-up throughout the Wine Lab, learning about the wine varietals and the bites that have been paired with them.  Whether it’s savoring our locally raised beef, enjoying the freshest of produce and olive oils, the twist of ingredients included in our chocolates, or the creaminess of cheeses and other local fare, you will Find Your Taste with these sumptuous flavors paired with Seven Oxen wines. The Pasobilities are Endless!

Once you Find Your Taste, our Pop-up Paso Marketplace will be offering products for purchase so you can take home a little Paso with you!

Wine Lab:  A lab where people discover and learn.  With over 70 wines by the glass, tasting flights that change every week, and winery events, you’ll be able to do just that.  In addition, they feature craft beers, artisan cheese platters, tapas & desserts for you to enjoy.  Be curious about wine and try new things.  We will make sure you enjoy a good glass of wine to suit your mood.Seven Oxen Estate Wines is located in the rolling hills of Paso Robles’ Westside. The 130-acre estate includes 26 acres of head pruned, spur trained vines planted in nine distinct blocks. The vineyard was planted in 2003 and 2005, and a new block of Mourvèdre was planted in 2014. We have 10 acres of Zinfandel, two acres of Petite Sirah, seven acres of Mourvèdre, five acres of Grenache, and two acres of Tannat.

FARMstead ED: Bringing folks together with locally grown via Ag Ed experiences, events and gatherings. FARMstead ED’s goal is to promote San Luis Obispo County FARMsteading skills and practices through educational experiences, events & gatherings at pop-up classrooms held at local farms, ranches and other agricultural related venues. The charm and intrigue comes from the opportunity for people to truly experience locally grown and made through a variety of different hands-on classes and events all over the county. FARMstead ED also has a mobile mercantile at each event that is stocked with items found within the teachings, including all the materials needed to DIY back at one’s own FARMstead.
